Ray has been in private practice for over 40 years in orthotics and prosthetics. This course has been derived from five years of exclusively printing lower extremity prosthetic devices in his practice. This ensures the practicality of the theories and practices that will be taught. Ray also has four concepts that are patent pending in 3-D printing ranging from::
(1) antigravity or centrifugal printing for printing low viscosity material such as silicone,
(2) common z-axis printing which allows filament and resins to be used by the same printer
(3) multi-head synchronous 3D printing and (4) 3D printing with navigable nozzles.
