Welcome to a game-changing revolution in prosthetics! Are you ready to unleash your creativity and transform the world of 3D printing in the orthotics and prosthetics field?
Learn exactly what you need in your digital workflows to be able to design and digitally fabricate sockets, with the O+P Digital Designer Academy course on prosthetic socket design.
View the final model you will make by the end of this training.
After this training, you will have working knowledge and workflows in how to use Fusion 360 parametric CAD software to help you in product design for O&P check and end use sockets.
Learn how to:
Create variable liners
Hardshell check sockets and definitive sockets
Adjustable sockets with BOA cabling systems
Lattice designs built native in F360
Learn about a variety of mounting strategies for various printing materials
Learn how to create lattice structures to reinforce your socket distal ends, or use it as a surface treatment across the entire surface.
We create general purpose lattices, flexible lattices, and knurled/ variable thickness lattices .
Easy, repeatable and functionally effective designs. Take the templates you make in this course and recycle them in your work.
learn what has been done with MJF and FDM centric designs in the past. We look at designs from other providers, and compare them against the results in this training.
Create easy workflows that allow you to affect the surface thickness, giving you control over the structure's behavior.
Learn how to map and execute cabling systems in butterfly sockets, for use in your MJF design workflows.
Getting from Scan to CAD has never been easier, now with this training, we are excited to announce two FREE methods to getting your residual scans modified and prepared for F360. Use O+PDD methods or use your own skills in other software, we show you how to do both!
NY Rehab in New York is one of our pioneers in design training, and their journey has led to a remarkable breakthrough. They've harnessed digital design training and innovation to create definitive sockets that not only cost a fraction of traditional methods but also deliver improved performance and patient satisfaction.
Learn about their journey and the year of development that went into creating this affordable solution, with Mike Nadata, CPO who took this training and adopted it into his practice, with tangible results that can be shared with the world.
Real results, a real journey, and you can be apart of it. Everything he learned with his team is in this training package.
